Final Farewell from Linda Betchol
Dear Parents and Students,
This is probably the hardest letter I have ever had to write. There are not enough words to express my thanks to each and every one of you for a wonderful three years. From the Mass at which Fr. Dan introduced me to the athletic games to the fundraising events to the banquets, I have felt very welcomed.
I was told from the beginning that Holy Spirit School was a family—and that is really true. The older students have looked after the younger students whether it was at something going on here at school or at one of the all-school field trips that we have taken. Sure there were squabbles that occurred, but what family does not experience that? We always come back together as the loving family of God that we are.
You students are a very talented bunch and need to nourish your particular God-given talents, whether it is in the field of writing, art, singing, acting or athletics. You all have so much to offer to your new schools; don’t hide your talents and abilities. Share them. I want to hear all about your new schools and the things in which you become involved. Therefore I am not closing out the school email. Please keep in touch through hssmillvale@gmail.com. I want to hear from you. Parents, feel free to stay in touch also and let me know what is going on with you and your children.
You all have made my first assignment as a principal a memorable one. I will pray for you and ask that you do the same for me. I will be starting a prayer list at my new school and the first intention I will put on there is for my Holy Spirit Family.
You are each and every one of you very dear to my heart. Remember what Fr. Dan has said numerous times at Mass—Holy Spirit School will always be with you. You have made it the wonderful school that it has been while I have been here and I could not have done my job without the support that you have given me.
“Thank you” just does not seem enough. But I take you all with me in my heart.

An emotional Graduation takes place with 15 of the finest Graduates Holy Spirit School has to offer. June 5th during the 4pm Mass, Holy Spirit Parish graduated its final class celebrating with both past and current teachers acknowledging their hard work in caring for the children of Holy Spirit Parish, inclusive of St. Anthony's and St. Anne's. JANUARY 30, 2010 BECAME THE DAY THE EIGHT GRADERS AT HOLY SPRIT GOT TO SHOW OFF THEIR PRIDE AND ESCORTING THEIR PARENTS INTO THE LYCEUM PRIOR TO TIP OFF.
